Making this card with alcohol ink backgrounds (from prior video) alcohol lift-ink, stencil, distress ink.

Here's the video showing the use of the alcohol ink palettes for stamping the Alcohol Lift-Ink.

Tags with Distress Crayon all over, then stamp with Ranger Archival Ink or add collage paper. I removed some ink with damp towel and stencil. Sprayed with walnut stain spray.
I got bored and then put crackle medium on the tags and let dry, then used Walnut Stain Crayon and Metallic Crayon over and buffed. The red/green tag has some transparent texture paste over stencil too, prior to the crackle medium. Not sure which ones I like better, but these are more distressed.
I used Distress Sprays and Distress Oxide Sprays on watercolor. Just spray all over (I used cheap watercolor paper) and then spritzed with water droplets (used Distress Sprayer but you could use a dropper, etc). Stamped Stampers Anonymous Stamps with Ranger Archival Ink. I'll add a sentiment later.
Distress Spray background w Distress Oxide droplets of spray in Walnut Stain. Dab walnut stain distress ink on cutouts w sponge to get to blend in. Stamp bugs in Ranger Archival Ink. Distress Archival does not bleed, it it just called "Distress" as the colors match the Distress line.
More distress oxide spray on watercolor. Stamp in Ranger Archival Ink, use Distress Pens with water brush to color in butterfly. Technique is scribble pen on glass palette, pick up ink with water brush. Stampers Anonymous stamps.
Was testing ink types with Copies. Marvy Black was ok. Versafine is NOT ok. Memento Luxe is NOT ok. The best thing was copy machine the black stamped image and print with your laser printer. Did not bleed. These were stamped in black then printed on laser printer/copy machine. Colored in with Copics. (His eyes to too dark on the left one). Daubered distress ink and oxides on background, spritzed with water (Distress Sprayer for large water dots). I'm going to stamp a sentiment or glue on on, depending on who it goes to.![]() |
