Copic fun. It's amazing how easy it is to entertain myself.

Thought I would try out some more of my new Copic Markers with some old stamps.

I'm multitasking, as I'm watching movies too... but hey.  Trying to be good and stay home...

Earth Day!

Celebrating Earth Day.  Being good.  Crafting.

Used some Hero Arts stamps, a slab stamp from Postmodern Design, and Freshly Picked Cricut cartridge.  Happy Earth Day!

"work"

I was having an exceptionally hellish morning, when I decided to try shopping on my Motorola Xoom.  Yay for 6pm.com!

Calvin Klein Prive, 32.55!
So, I bought a couple 7 For All Mankind tunics and dresses too, and a Betsey Johnson dress as the apparel was 80% off.  Oh, ok, and a Calvin Klein sheath dress.  As it claimed I saved almost $800 off retail, I guess I did ok.  I got the last Betsey dress, but I have to show it off:

This is to top off my Copic marker obsession that happened again yesterday...more markers!  Will show off when I get more usage out of them.  I bought the multiliners too, so I can draw my own stuff and color in.

Ok.  Breaktime over, I have to get back to settling cases and dealing with a jerk attorney who I can't even stand the sound of his/her voice. AM shoe shopping helped me more than therapy, though, and was arguably cheaper!!!  :)

other crafts that come out of the factory here.

Someone asked what other crafts go on around here.  My slogan (yes, I have cards) is "where creativity meets intelligence".  Funny, huh.  Anyway, here are some things lying around.

I work to buy craft supplies.

Ok.  So, multitasking...  I decide to figure out what some of my products do.  If only my crafting could support me, but instead, I have to work.  Whatever.

So, I go all research crazy and decide I need to know what to do with some of my junk.  Research on obscure things like Luna Lights (yes, that's freezer paper) and Ranger inks, and that is all foreign to non-stampers, but hey.  Even though my craft room rivals that of small stamp stores, I still found time to purchase some "newer" stuff.

I tried the Tsukineko "Goosebumps" and their "shimmer spritz".  I tried the Goosebumps on the flower pic with the window to make it look like raindrops on a window.  Pretty cool.  I'm gonna cut it out eventually and put it on a springtime card.

The shimmer was used on the butterfly/dragonfly one.  It doesn't come out great in the picture, but it's pretty cool.  I think the "frost" shimmer would be better for say, a snow scene, (which, it did snow today, in mid April, so perhaps that's where the inspiration came from).  But it is cool, nonetheless.  Go buy some.  I got mine at JoAnn Fabrics.  Click on the pics to get closer.  Oh, also multitasking, I took the photos with my Xoom.  All Magenta brand stamps as well.  My fav.

Now if I could only figure out how to use the Potion 9.  Arrrgh.  Too many potions, too little time.  If I could just craft for like a week straight, I might find some sanity...  I think it's cheaper than therapy (well, maybe not, considering the amount I spend on this stuff), and much more therapeutic!  I want to stay up all night and play (oh, noticeably my cough disappeared when I got all excited about this stuff), but I have to rest and get rid of this cold so I can (ugh), work all day tomorrow.  Gotta make money to buy more craft supplies...

springtime crafts...

Busted out the Copics to compare to my ancient alcohol based markers (almost 20 year old markers called "Design Art Marker" by Eberhard Faber).  They still work.  Wow, I guess I had good taste even back then.  They look the same, pretty much, but I didn't know how to blend them back then.  I read somewhere that companies use different formulas so they won't mix well together, but I didn't try that.  Hate to waste paper, ha!

I also busted out the Gypsy that was feeling a bit neglected...  haven't glued them together yet, but here's a start.  This is from the "Freshly Picked" cartridge.  Not sure what to do with them next, but it kept me occupied for an hour while I watched TV.  Relaxing!

Gotta smell good too...

Well this came up this weekend as I was totally sick... my "not boyfriend" told me that I smell really good, like natural, not perfume-ish.

Um.

Not so much, dude.   How to smell natural, 101. Prada, Herve, Valentino, Marc Jacobs, Betsy, Ralph, CK, LAMB, Stila, Juicy, Angel, Chanel, Philosophy, yeah. I have mastered the art of smelling "natural". Of course this is the same person who believes I don't wear a lot of makeup.... have u seen my bathroom?  Men know nothing.  Back to crafting...

Sooo sick, but somehow was convinced to join softball...

So my friend Travis coerced me into joining his softball team. Why anyone would want a midget on a softball team is beyond me, but what's the first thing a girl should do when joining a team? Get new shoes at 6pm.com.

Free ground shipping this weekend on orders over $100!

He also brought me some chicken soup to help with the coercion, but anyway... brings me back to our law school softball team where I was shortstop. Literally.

4/15-4/17: Women's Designer Shoes Up to 80% Off!

Anyway, while looking for softball shoes, I came across some nice travel flats: DKNY

Finally, as a bonus, I noticed the designer shoes were on sale again. Donald J Pliner under $50? Yes, please.

I am starting to feel better already. I heart 6pm.com!

6pm.com is my hero.

Contemplating more Calvin Kleins....

Must go search for more Cole Haan's on sale. They are such a great work shoe, and once you break them in, massively comfy. In the meantime...

Nine West Ambitious. It's like porn for shoes. I can't wait to rock these with a white eyelet skirt. What to wear on top? Who cares. The shoes say it all.

Then, we have the Nine West Limoscene. You know, for all my gray suits. The Nine West's I have are really comfy so I figured these were a good work shoe. Corporette's got nothin on me...

copics, xoom, and more love.

So, I went to the Coeur d'Alene stamp show today, and ended up with a new bag full of copics.  Just can't stop.

Speaking of not stopping, I was hungry on the way home, so I went to Costco for food.   Next thing you know, not only is there the Costco Rotissierie Chicken in my cart, but also a Motorola xoom.  I was looking at them, and debating what if anything to get, and then  -  there it was!  The cardboard thing said something like I needed it "you need this" or something.  Whatever.  Well, I have one now.  It's what I took the picture above using.  Pretty good graphics and pics!

I am obsessed with 6pm.com

Daily news...
So I loved my Teva's so much - so soft, that I saw these with a little bigger heel and had to do it.

Then, as I got a daily coupon code (15% off EMapril15OFF), I looked around.  Cork wedges are in, so um, had to do it.

Nine West Getby.  So, to add to the mix, I saw these Jessica Simpson's really cheap, ($35 without the coupon code yet).

Finally, to end the shopping spree, BCBG's for $23.00.  (before coupon, again).  Score.

For those of you waiting to see the craft updates - coming soon.  I just got my Stampin' Up order, and am going to the Coeur d'Alene stamp show this weekend!  Coming soon!
