springtime crafts...

Busted out the Copics to compare to my ancient alcohol based markers (almost 20 year old markers called "Design Art Marker" by Eberhard Faber).  They still work.  Wow, I guess I had good taste even back then.  They look the same, pretty much, but I didn't know how to blend them back then.  I read somewhere that companies use different formulas so they won't mix well together, but I didn't try that.  Hate to waste paper, ha!

I also busted out the Gypsy that was feeling a bit neglected...  haven't glued them together yet, but here's a start.  This is from the "Freshly Picked" cartridge.  Not sure what to do with them next, but it kept me occupied for an hour while I watched TV.  Relaxing!

  1. Ah, my discontinued markers were bought by Sanford (Prismacolor) and then discontinued. They're "Xylene" (poison?) markers, whatever that is. Apparently they're a legendary cult classic. Maybe I should sell them.... like those beanie babies in the basement....
